With the support of the Province of Noord-Brabant
Indonesian soprano, Bernadeta Astari, studied classical singing with Henny Diemer and graduated cum laude from Utrecht Conservatory. She is currently a member of Opera Studio Nederland since August 2012.
Bernadeta is one of the first call concert soloist, in and out of The Netherlands. Notable achievements have included working with the Royal Concertgebouworkest cello octet, and winning the Princess Christina Concours 2007 and the Dutch Classical Talent 2012. In 2010 she was chosen to participate in the renowned German Lied Master Course at the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Austria.
In opera, Bernadeta has performed in productions of the junior program of the Nationale Reisopera, the Dutch National Opera Academy, Studio 32, and Nieuw Kamer Orkest. She recently appeared at Het Grachtenfestival Amsterdam in ‘De Mozart & Da Ponte Trilogie’ as ‘Susanna’ and ‘Despina’. Bernadeta also has participated in masterclasses with Nathalie Stutzmann, Cynthia Hoffmann, and Roland Hermann.
