After short studies in Stuttgart with Prof. B. Jaeger-Böhm and Prof. Julia Hamari Daniela Köhler went to Karlsruhe to study with Prof. Ingrid Haubold.
During that time she has been awarded with scholarships Lions Club Karlsruhe-Durlach (2005-2006), the Richard-Wagner-Verband Baden-Baden and the Zonta Karlsruhe (both 2007). She participated in master classes with Julia Hamari (2000) and Ks. Brigitte Fassbaender (2005) and continued studying with Sheri Greenawald and John Parr at the San Francisco Opera (2009). In Karlsruhe she was a member of the Opernstudio (fellowship program for young singers) at the badisches Staatstheater (2007-2009), where she is now working as a guest. Her repertoire includes Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Gerhilde Die Walküre (Wagner), Leitmetzerin Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss).
