Rabea kramp, soprano
The German Soprano Rabea Kramp got her first violin and piano lessons at the age of seven and eleven. With 17 she started singing and studied with Prof. Klaus Häger in Rostock until she moved to Stuttgart in 2006 to study with Prof. Ulrike Sonntag. Aided by the Baden-Württemberg-scholarship she spent some months in London at the Guildhall to study with Prof. Rudolf Piernay.
Rabea Kramp participated actively in many masterclasses with Grace Bumbry, Peter Schreier, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Cheryl Studer, Rudolf Piernay, Erwin Gage a.o.
Several times she sang with the Polish chamber orchestra under Wojciech Rajski, 2010 she sang Mahler 4. Symphony in Brixen/Italy and with Helmut Rilling in Stuttgart at the Musikfest Stuttgart 2011.
She is a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes and the Yehudi-Menuhin-foundation. In 2011 she won the first price at the Paula-Salomon-Lindberg-song-competition in Berlin.
